Who runs Sawghat

Sawghat is the seller of everything it sends. We buy the goods, keep them in our own warehouses in Afghanistan, check every order before your card is charged, and pack and deliver it ourselves. Sawghat's own support team answers every question.

How an order reaches your family

1. You choose

   Pick a package with every item listed, or build a basket item by item. Prices are in US dollars, with an approximate afghani reference.

2. You pay by card

   Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card is only charged once we confirm your order, and Sawghat never sees or stores your full card number.

3. We confirm and pack

   We check your order, gather every item at our warehouse in your family's city, fresh gifts included, and pack it all into one box.

4. Your family receives it

   A courier takes the parcel to the door. Your family's phone number is used for delivery updates and the confirmation code, and your order page shows each step.

What you can count on

• Refunds to your card

  If an order is cancelled before it is packed, or an item cannot be supplied, the money goes back to the card you paid with, in US dollars. It usually arrives within 5 to 10 business days.

• Help when something is wrong

  If goods arrive damaged, if a wrong item arrives, or if something is missing, open a claim from the order page.

• Checked orders

  Orders are screened against sanctions lists and checked for fraud, and limits apply per order, card and recipient.
